the reason for the one star.... in december 2020, it just failed. meaning it would not power up. no reset tool. nothing. equally worse was there was no way to contact samsung customer service for assistance. big company so i can get over that. my real issue is that there must be a manufacturers defect on this tablet as when i did research entirely too many people complained of my exact same issue. meaning... you wake up one morning and the tablet just does not turn on.

I've had this tablet since 5th grade and it still runs really fast, and the brightness is amazing, but when I had to go get it looked at there was a problem with the port and I found out that you would have to get a new tablet because the port is connected to the motherboard. But overall great tablet.

I've had this device since July 2016, and it's incredible. I also own a really powerful laptop, but there are some things this tablet does that it just can't. It has the advanced mobility, offline capability and long battery life that the laptop doesn't have. When I'm on the go, this thing will have you covered. It's also a pleasure to look at with its saturated 1440p screen, and it runs apps and games like a charm. Never lags. It's got all your Google and Microsoft products right there where you need them, and it's extremely customizable. There's also plenty of storage space to last you a long time. I recommend getting a protective case with it, though. This thing's extremely valuable, and your heart will shatter simultaneously with the screen.

I have had this tablet for almost 3 weeks and I am completely satisfied. My only complaint is that I wish the charging port had an outlet/Jack like the one for headphones. I bent the pins while charging my other tablet after falling asleep with it, now I'm scared of the same bad luck.

The Galaxy s2 tablet is a great size and lightweight. I have had it for about two weeks but have found two problems that should be corrected. 1. When you put the tablet in or just lay it on a case with the auto sleep feature it puts it to sleep and cannot be turned back on. I took it to Fry's Electronics where we purchased it and they no answer. Tried Samsung cases and other smart cases and had the same problem. Finally purchased a plain case, without the smart slerp feature. 2. No matter what virtual keyboard I use, typing is a problem. I have changed the sensitivity but going from one key to the next it will type the key between. And yes I have watched to make sure I am not hitting a key next to the one selected. I have never had this problem with another tablet. So if you don't want the auto sleep feature and don't do much typing this is the tablet for you.

Took almost a month to receive even after several phone calls to Samsung. Was in stock at warehouse each time i called. Other than the shipping problem, a very good product.

I got my tablet and from the very beginning have really enjoyed it. It has similar form factor to the iPad Pro 9.7 but is thinner. The iPad definately has a stronger processor, but I have been hard pressed to find any app that I'm using that needs more processing power. It has handled everything I've thrown at it and never lagged or stuttered. I especially like that you can get a tablet with a better screen and expandable memory at a much better value than the iPad Pro (half the retail price). Way to go Samsung!

I love this tablet! This is my 2nd Tab S. The first is the original 8 inch (still works fine). Just wanted the larger variant. Nice design,ultra light! Very happy with it. I don't think you could go wrong with the S line. Only wish it was a more " pure" version of android. But besides that it's a GREAT product! Good job Samsung!

I bought a S2 for my wife about 6 months ago. She loves it. I was trying to hold out for the S3 but, my old tablet (Lenovo) was getting long in the tooth and it seemed like the S3 wasn't coming until the summer so I got the S2. I am very satisfied with it. It is a Rocketship compared to the Lenovo. Lots of nice features my favorite is the quick connect I use it to connect to my 4k Samsung TV.

the performance & display is excelent . I bought the equipment for use in my work and I bought a rugged casing for protect it but the equipment drop off one time and doesn't work anymore. I think the AMOLED display excelent but the equipment is fragile.

I used to have a Samsung Galaxy TAB 2 10.1 16GB, but 4 years later, it just didn't work for me. For a Christmas present, I got this Tab S2 9.7, and the speed, size, and premium feel just assures me that this tablet is worthy of a starter tablet or a tablet for an experienced Samsung user. The back is plastic, but it does give a grippy feel that makes me know that I've got a secure feel on my Tablet. The front is just gorgeous. The gorilla glass mixed with the AMOLED display make a beautiful tablet screen. I wish every tablet had something like this! The only downside to this tablet is that there aren't that many new features to it. If you look at it, it just looks like a giant S6 without 4G capabilities. Other then that, I'm SURPRISED that this tablet isn't over 800 bucks. Great job, Samsung.

I quickly learned the value of a good processor, more storage capacity, plenty of RAM, and stunning display. It was worth the expense. I am completely satisfied. I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Table S2 and used it for about a month and I returned it and purchased the IPad Pro. BIG MISTAKE, When I finally booted the IPad pro up and the screen appeared and I was like wow the screen was so dull looking and dark, so I raised the brightness to as high it would go and still it looked like I was looking at a black and white TV. I really started to missing my Samsung at that point, but I wanted to give the IPad a chance so I pushed on and on, and on after 2 days of using the IPAD pro I was ready to take it back. So I did. I have owned Apple products in past and enjoyed them but once I got my hands on the Samsung I feel in love. The screen is gorgeous. The colors are full of life. I don't have to punch the glass for it to respond. Surfing the Internet is wonderful hassel free journey. There's a back button ( IPAD has no back button I could find) The pages load fast and scrolling the pages up and down is like playing a violin it is smooth. There are handy free apps when you register your Tab2 that are a must have. I enjoyed playing garage band on the IPAD but Samsung has a similar product called Soundcamp with a ton of free upgrades just because you purchased the Tab2. That is awsome!! And it is fun to play as well. I will never purchase another IPAD product. Samsung is for life for me. This tablet is absolutely the best tablet and you can purchase memory micro SD card I purchased the 32gig tablet and installed a 128 gig SD card I am good for a few years. I can't wait to see what Samsung has to offer in the future. Amazing job Samsung!!! And thank you.

I absolutely LOVE this tablet. It has all the features I need, it is bright and easy to read, installing and using apps are breeze. It's thin and just the right weight. Ok, this is not my first tablet, but my first Samsung. My wife has a Tab A and when it came time to upgrade old faithful I looked at the Samsung line because of the excellent performance from hers. got it, love it, happy I made the upgrade. It's light, thin, and FAST. There are a few of things that are, well, could be better. First, Battery life. Could be a lot better. Not as bad as some, but not as good as others. Second, the bloatware. Don't need, don't want some of this stuff but can't uninstall. Lastly, there is a metal lip running around the outside of the screen, looks good but after a while in my hand it begins to feel rough, more like an irritant. But manageable. I have read the other reviews and one thing I noticed that People were complaining about watching movies. Yes the screen ratio is smaller, but if I want to watch movies i go to the widescreen hanging on the wall at my house. Not my tablet. But i do like how you can change the display type to shift the colors. I primarily use it for word processing, email, internet, reading, and games. Would I buy it again? YES. Would I recommend to a friend? Already have. In fact, I know of 2 that have already been bought after they saw mine. This is a Tablet, not a computer, but it comes close. Love it.

I love the AMOLED screen- it's almost better than watching my t.v.. The weight of this tablet is so little, that you can balance it with 1 finger. The sensitivity of the touchscreen is so incredible, that I've hovered over the screen, and it senses it and goes! That was almost disasterous on Amazon.com....so, make sure that your 1-click buying is turned off. I am just in love with my S2 9.7". This one will be tough to beat when Samsung comes up with the new version. In the meantime, I'm perfectly content with the performance, style, and speed of my tablet. For once, I'm not eager for a newer version!

a recent purchase but i am loving my new Samsung Tab 2. it is lightweight, has great features, clear pictures. easy to navigate and synced all my information from my previous tablet effortlessly, even though i was in a different country..... great for me as i am not the most techie person but this tablet is very easy to navigate
