I love Samsung tablets but this one is a little touchy on the typing. You have to be on the letter exactly or you get a wrong letter. And auto correct is too aggressive, changes words it shouldn't.

I bought this tablet to use on a vacation that got cancelled so I put it away for several months since I didn't have a use for it.
Then I took it out recently to set it up for my Mom to use and after only 4 uses the WiFi quit working.
And surprise! My Warranty had already expired so I am stuck with a $300 paperweight!

This is my first tablet of any kind and I love my tablet more than my phone. It is the perfect size for me to take with me any where. The fact that it has Microsoft Office included on the tablet was the biggest seller to me. I love Samsung products because I believe, they are of high quality. I wish I could load my ITunes account on here, but it's ok. I'll get an IPhone for that.

I like the bright display and the vibrant colors. At 9.7,it's not bulky and plays movies or videos nicely. It was easy for me to find the right case, keyboard and screen protector for my tablet. I think I'll keep it for a while.
My only little issue is that sometimes it can be slow. The camera and speakers need improvement too, in my opinion.
I'll recommend this tablet and my family has two of them.

This device is an amazing performer and worthy IPad competitor. It's fast CPU and sufficient Ram makes use very easy and swift.
The design is beautiful, and lightweight. It doesn't even feel like your holding a device this large! Light as a feather! Plus it comes in Gold!
The display, an amazing display from Samsung, a flagship super AMOLED display has wide viewing angles and is very sharp! Despite being large, it doesn't lack pixels!
The cameras, they are Ok, but if you are really using a large tablet to take most of your photos, please reevaluate your choices.
The UI, the OS runs nougat which is pretty recent (at time of writing) and I don't notice any slowdown! The touchwiz UI is getting a lot better, less bloatware and more actual device. The inclusion of MS apps was nice, but some I don't use so I had to disable them.
All in all, if your looking for an IPad like device on android, then this tablet is definitely for you!

Received Galaxy S2 8.2 Tablet 32GB as a birthday present 3/2016. Loved it... then less than 3 months later the tablet would not charge. As it was under warranty they "repaired" it. My husband COULD of bought a refurbished tablet for $100 less... 2 1/2 months later it was basically "refurbished'. Samsung refused to replace with a new tablet. Now just under 1 1/2 years same problem... tablet will not charge. Now out of warranty. Have researched on the web and seems to be a common problem.

I have owned this tablet for over six months and I regret purchasing it. The internet drops on it every 15 minutes so no matter what you are working on or watching it refreshes and other applications open up and interrupt. My unit is in services for the second time with no solution the first time and who knows how it will return. So far I have been 30 days without a tablet and its been torture. I have many Samsung products and this is the only one I have had issues with ...But its all it takes to stop buying Samsung tablets

I've only had it for a month but so far so good. One feature that is different than my phone is the keyboard where you have to hold your finger down on a letter to insert numbers.

Samsung galaxy tab2 works great! It has a lot of ram, so I can download many apps online. These days a lot of things can be done with one click. I love it. I can easily manage my apps in folders, and I am enjoying it. I love it, it's great!

I love this tablet. I have been an Ipad fan for years. It was time for a new tablet and I almost bought another Ipad. I'm glad I didn't. The Samsung Galaxy S2 is super fast and has an incredible screen. There is one downside. Samsung did not put the Galaxy S2 "wifi only" tablet on the list of upgradeable products. In other words, this particular tablet will not be able to receive the upgrade to Nougat. That's a bummer! If I had known that at the time of purchase, I would have waited.

I bought this to replace a tablet I had lost. It has a much faster processor speed than my previous tablet. I really like the ability to install apps to the SD card to save the tablet's internal storage. Some may complain that it's too big, but I have been very pleased with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2.

Though I have extensive experience on four OSes (Windows, Apple, Unix, Linux) used by PCs, this is my first tablet. I am pleased with my purchase.
I chose the 9.7 in tablet over the 8 in tablet since I have large hands and since I am used to large screens. That was an excellent decision! The smaller tablet likely would have frustrated me.
I use my tablet mostly for reading (Kindle, doc and pdf files, etc.) and watching videos (downloaded Silent Service shows and Netflix movies). Even with the larger format, the virtual keyboard is not large enough nor does it perform in a manner that lets me do touch typing. So I leave productive work (this review, for example) to my PCs. Others may be more facile than am I with tablets and can do productive work on them more easily. That is not a hit on Samsung, just the nature of tablets
I greatly appreciate the Samsung personalizations of the android OS. They have increased the usability of this platform for me and have provided a source of applications that I feel I can trust more than those otherwise found only on Google Play. The battery's stamina is nice! I can spend a large part of my day watching videos or reading books before they need recharging. I have not even bothered doing some things that would make the battery last longer, such as turning off WiFi and Bluetooth when not in use.
I installed a 128 GiB extension card and I'm glad that I did. I have plenty of real estate remaining, despite my extensive downloads of videos and documents. It took me quite some time to figure out how to create and use folders on that card, though.
The voice command bit is cute but I confess not to using it, just out of habit. The handwriting to text bit is cute also, but the passive stylus needed for this type of tablet makes me feel like I'm picking my teeth with a garden spade. So I personally do not benefit much from those gimmicks. However, they might be useful adaptive features for some, especially the voice commands.
The device is sturdily built, though I did add a Sparin tempered glass screen protector to the screen. And I have put the tablet in a nice case made by Tech Vendor. Both were obtained via Amazon.
I created fingerprint images for unlocking and authorizations but the tablet still insists on using the PIN that I created as a back-up. I could have just stuck with PIN security.
The largest lacking in my view is that there is not enough easily found documentation on how to do things on the tablet. A lot of what is out there tells you what you can do without saying enough about how to do it. Experienced tablet users, especially of android tablets, probably don't want as much hand-holding as I was looking for.
In all, a good buy and a great product!

My old tablet was 5-6 years old, and very slow. Bought this new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 so I wouldn't have to lug my regular laptop, and am very pleasedi. It's fast, light weight, and I love it. Even got a Bluetooth keyboard for lengthier emails, etc.

I love this tablet I use it daily at home, in bed, and pretty much replaces my computer. I was going to buy two ipads for my wife and I but, I love the android software. Im glad I made the right choice and I love that it has expandable memory. Screen is super clear and trumps my wife's ipad " she doesn't like to admit that " and it links up very well with my new Samsung curve 4k ultra HD smart TV. I'll never buy anything else but Samsung products

Pretty good for all activities except watching movies/videos. Videos cannot utilize the entire screen. When projecting to Samsung TV it displays the same video in the same format at the Tablet which makes projection useless as well.

I bought my Galaxy S2 after a multitude of aggravations with my ipad, and I can't even express how much better I like the Galaxy. It's light as a feather and faster than the ipad. I really like having the numbers above the letters like you find on a computer keyboard. The camera is great, pictures are clear and bright on the screen. Really, I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, it's a great tablet!

The only bad thing I have to say about the tablet is that I wish the battery life was improved. The battery even drains when the tablet is off. That's my only complaint. Otherwise I can see no fault with the Galaxy S2. The tablet is expensive but it's worth it. The speed at which apps load and the screen resolution is incomparable.

This is a replacement tablet for me, my previous (not a Samsung) tablet was aggravating the screens would jump and do what it wanted. This new Samsung tablet is so smooth and easy to use. It is very similar to my Galaxy 5S phone, so easy to get used to. Thank you Samsung.

I had mixed feelings, i-pad pro or the Samsung S2 tablet, well I'm certainly glad I picked the S2. The screen is so vibrant, much more than i-pad pro. There is no lag time, the performance is top notch!! I will be able to use this tablet at home and for much of my work. If your like me and are trying to decide between an S2 or an I-pad pro pick the Samsung S2, you will be happy you dud!!

Being a semi-tech geek in the healthcare field along with a part-time photographic business, I have been putting off buying a tablet for a LOT of reasons, MAINLY the fact I own 2 laptops & 2 desktops, ALL nearly 2017 specs in every manner of speaking! & SO it went, I decided this Christmas I wanted to buy a 10.1 Note Galaxy tablet, & discovered they were NO longer made (aka version 2014...) disappointed, I took to the used places like Amazon/Ebay to search out this elusive cool tablet...bought one...discovered it not only was USED (when advertised as new, never opened)...& even had a screen protector installed! Frustrated, I sent it back for a full refund (THANK U Amazon!) & thought I should just skip the tablet search-BUT, thoughts of having the convenience of BOTH a tablet & a screen resolution that was on par with the now-extinct 2014 version Galaxy Tab, I REnewed my search & found THE beauty in the 64gb version from BestBuy (ONLY place I found the 64gb version...odd!) Also bought the keyboard for this beauty & had it sent 2 days free delivery & am typing this review on Christmas Eve night! LOVE this tab...RESOLUTION is RAZOR...& Android 6.0 (or is it 6.1?) races at speed all the time! HAPPY I bought this new & realized I really don't need the "note feature", aka pen!!! I've read several peeps reviews on how the 64gb will make winners out of the "gb wars", meaning 64 OVER 32, BUT my usage for this tablet is STRICTLY utilizing the resolution & multiple micro-sd cards for photos for inspection for clients, & NO tablet memory being used for this purpose! THANKS Samsung! Thanks BestBuy!

This is my 2nd Samsung tablet and I love it!! I debated getting an iPad but there weren't enough pros for me to really consider it. I love how it smoothly connects with all my Bluetooth items and has apps that work well with my Canon camera and printer. I love how it integrates with other Samsung products. It is truly lightweight and the color is fabulous. When Samsung upgrades their product they really do it. When it is time to get my 3rd tablet Samsung will be it again.

I was new to the world of computers when I purchased my s2. I first bought a laptop in June 2015 after swearing I'd never get a computer. Then, on a whim, in September I bought the tab s2. It was quite intimidating at first, as was the laptop, but a friend of mine encouraged me to basically just go for it..... "explore and push buttons"...... she said, I caught on pretty quickly, and after a couple of weeks I realized that the tablet was easier and more convenient to use than the laptop, I love my s2 now ! The color and graphics are awesome! It's very light, and I can't believe how thin it is ! It took a while to get used to the smaller touchpad keyboard. My fingers tend to hit the wrong key from time to time. All in all, it's a great product , but I only gave it 4 stars for performance because after having it for just 1 year, the home button stopped working , the graphics are sometimes jittery , and the keypad became unresponsive at times. I called a computer repair technician and he told me it would cost almost as much to fix it as what I paid for it !Because I like it so much I decided to buy a new one instead , and I hope this one will last longer than the first one ! Transferring data was a breeze with the free Samsung "share my data" app !! (did I get that right?)

I am not happy with this tablet at all, slow processor, sound is horrible, to much money for the product. After trying to get my 10.1 note fixed I also see how samsung stands behind their product.... NOT. I will not be buying another samsung product. Please do you research on the company and their service before you buy.
