I really do enjoy this tablet, the battery is outstanding, screen is good, processing power is good, and overall is a great performer. My only issue is that certain things my S9 can handle no problem sometimes the tablet has issues with. It's only real limitation is the RAM, if it had a little more it would be perfect and get 5 stars!

I love the screan mirroring with Samsung TV. I don't like the limited 16g of memory. I know it's expandable but you lose performance with the added memory. With the installed memory 10gigs are used to run the tablet itself. You have to use expanded memory slot to put in more than just a few apps. When that's addressed you will have a great tablet.

I have been a loyal Samsung phones and tablets customer for many years, so to not recommend this tablet and only rate it 1 star is big. Only coming with 16GB is disappointing, to say the least. First of all, the tablet uses up over 15GB, of which a HIGH majority can not be uninstalled or disabled. Secondly, even after inserting a 64GB of up to a 256GB available micro SD card (that you have to purchase separately for quite a bit of additional cash), still barely fit any apps. In fact!, I can fit an incredible amount of additional apps on my Samsung Galaxy 8+! I ended up purchasing a 126GB iPad Pro with which I am very happy. Unless Samsung fixes multiple issues with their next tablet, I will be getting iPads from now on.

It's a good tablet but it needs improvements on storage and processing speed. Biggest improvement and needs is more storage if they ever do come out with another tablet better than this one. I mean only giving someone 16 gigs of storage is not enough if it was around 32 to 64 gigs that's fine or even a 128 gigs would be best.

I like the tablet but I it's just a bigger tab e with a much larger price tag. My BIGGEST COMPLAINT is when I put the tab on do not disturb I can no longer control the volume. I DON'T GET THAT! I PUT MY DEVICE ON DO NOT DISTURB SO THAT I DON'T HEAR EMAILS AND CHIMES THROUGH THE NIGHT, BUT IF I WAKE UP AND WANT TO PLAY A MOVIE OR SOMETHING I CAN'T CONTROL THE VOLUME!

Wifi Problems and Telephone function disabled

Since receiving this Tablet, wifi networks keep dropping out as it cannot find any networks even though other devices see all without any problems. It has now gone off to service department hopefully to remedy this common problem. Symptoms = Scan and connect to network then signal shows full for a few seconds then drops to 1 dot, move anywhere more than 2 metres from router and it disconnects. total rubbish. I purchased this model (paying more than £50 extra for LTE and sim) Only to find telephone functions are disabled and most plans that offer SMS and DATA include calls which are wasted. Bang goes my intention of using a Bluetooth headset when commuting. Advice. Avoid this Tablet until Samsung make good the specifications and save your money. Its no better than the Wifi version! that is when you want to sit on your Router.

I can't get this to charge all the way! It will only charge to about 6-13% and then it just stops taking a charge. Also, the rotate is weird and it shuts down a lot on its own. I love it otherwise. Wish the bugs were fixed!

I love this tablet... it's so fast! I drive for Uber. While waiting at the airport in between runs, which can be an hour or two, we'll watch movies from Xfinity, Hulu, Amazon, and Netflix with ZERO buffering. Battery life is surprisingly long! A+++ in my book!!!

I've only had for little over a week, so far so good. Would have preferred a 32 GB and more Ram, but that's all they had in the Galaxy tab. This is my 3rd Galaxy tab,I'm replacing my tab2, 7"and I have the 12.5 pro. I've been happy with Samsung, and we, my family all have Galaxy s phones . At least it takes a decent sized SD card. 4g lte, unlimited data is great. I can take this with me, use for maps, reading, social media and whatever, lol. So far I'm happy with it. This is my third tablet in less than 14 days, different brands, I went backto my favorite, Samsung Galaxy. One thing, I do not like the charging port where it is

Bought this for work, I wish it had a S pen but it wasn't a option. Has magnets in the back for smart covers but also allows you to stick it on a door or other metal object while you work. If you like your Galaxy phone you will love this. Also comes with messenger if you have a data plan you can text with it like with your normal phone.

Dissapointed - May Be Last Samsung Purchase - Unless Samsung Changes For The Better

Keep in mind readers that I am a low end power user. This tablet is adequate for most, but mostly unnecessary in the face of a cellphone or PC. This product costs more than the non- carrier versions as I am sure the extra wireless chipset required warrants it; however, I am not convinced the chipset takes up the physical space needed to match the RAM that is in their wi-fi/Stylus model. After the system and preloaded apps are in the RAM is diminished to ~600mb available. I would have preffered an extra 1 to 2 GBs so 3 to 4 Gbs total and a stylus. The device is incredibly lacking in memory on all fronts. The 16 GBs of internal storage drops to ~9 GBs in available space after all preinstalled software is accounted for. There is an option to install an SDXC 200 GB SD. The entire industry that sells memory of course is indirectly lying on size so it drops to ~183 GBs . Obviously for apps, app data, etc... this external storage is problematic. Eventually internal storage runs out. The newer Android OS 6+ has created what is known as Adoptable Storage. It will turn the SDXC card into internal storage. Samsung literature digital and otherwise did not specify SDXC Speed Class or SD bus mode. I settled on a card that supported Class 10 and U1 which worked. In it's wisdom Samsung disabled the Adoptable Storage feature so my plan to expand the memory was halted. This only soured the purchase for me. Ultimately I bought this tablet as I need to be able to do online reasearch, pay my bills, and enjoy some media while traveling for work since I may be gone months at a time. The book marking feature in Chrome is lacking since it's still a mobile version of Chrome, but the browser initially appears like the desktop version which frustrates my organization habits(I'd prefer full desktop style). Sadly some of my billing websites still misbehave with Samsung and Chrome which is no fault of Samsung or Chrome. The media storage has me concerned. If memory still functions like older Androids for Google Play and App storage then I really am going to be hurting and limited in use due to lack of internal storage. Ultimately and sadly this was the best option for my mobile needs, but is lacking given what I believe Samsung is capable of. My cellphone made by them has more RAM and internal Memory. The bluetooth version is the same as my cellphone(Samsung), and desktop and yet I have to manually reconnect my bluetooth mouse everytime I need it. I'm disappointed but using another lesser model mouse to solve that. The bluetooth keyboard, same brand as mouse, has no such problem. A fingerprint reader would have finished off the tablet well, but was not included. A higher resolution front camera would have been ideal for video chats. Back camera I could care less about since I have a cellphone. This model appears to match the Samsung Wi-Fi model in shape. Ordering accessories for that model has worked for this one. Dear Samsung, Feel free to contact me outside of some low level surveyor or survey if you are serious about raising consumer appeal and bringing back your edge. You make great hardware, have great programmers, but you execute it poorly. Not seeing the forest for the trees comes to mind when I think of you all. I hope you turn from making products just for for the sake of it back to making progress or else I will be keeping an eye out for the new companies and devices that pick up the ball you've dropped. The devices that offer what you so clearly can but won't. Thank You for your previous service. I hope we can still have a future...

This tablet has surprised me. As an owner of the galaxy tab 4 7.0 model i was not very impressed with the performance or battery life. It really struggled in both of those areas. This tablet puts that one to shame. Its fast, the display is sharp, and the battery lasts a long while. It picks up Sprints LTE quite well. Gaming is good and browsing the web is a pleasure. I will say that the speaker placement is not very good. There are two speakers but they are at the bottom of the tablet. I feel like samsung should have put one on top and the other on the bottom so you get that stereo effect. All in all though this is an AMAZING tablet. Big screen, big battery and big processor. I will say i dont use my tablet for photography so i cant really say anything about it. I would recommend this tablet to anyone looking for a big screen and great performance!
