I have a 32GB micro sd card in it, but every time I try to update my apps, it keeps giving the "out of storage space" error. This tablet is full of bloat ware that can't be moved over to the SD card. I'm so tired of this tablet with the measly 8gb internal storage space, I getting the 8" tablet with the 32gb internal storage.

I got this tablet strictly to play my favorite games, also do some web surfing and stream videos.. well i can surf the web and stream videos great and i can play some games no problem but my 2 favorite games have been annoying. It loads and plays them but just when the game starts getting action it will crash and it is so frustrating, this tablet is so full of google and samsung apps running in the back ground my ram is always halfway full same with storage space. These apps cannot be removed and i have decieded i will look for an ipad instead i wish i would have bought apple to begin with.. i gave samsung a try because i have been happy with my latest galaxy phones. But i am very dissapointed with my purchase

I have other products for ereading purposes but wanted one for when I would like to view color ebooks. I loaded MoonReader, Nook, and Kindle. I uninstalled updates to other pre-installed apps I will not be using which even though it does not completely remove the app, it reduced the size of the app. I only use in Airplane mode when I am reading, and the battery life is great. Only Kindle and MoonReader appear to allow you to store books on SD card. You can read online how to sideload books for Moonreader and Kindle. Due to the older Android OS you cannot move applications to the card. Samsung should really release a newer OS for this model. A later version OS would permit you to run applications from the SD card. So be prepared for little to no space for applications, but if your using in similar fashion to me, you have plenty of space for ebooks dependent on SD card you use. Have to admit I am using this with my black and white ebooks now as well. There is a display setting in the Samsung for book reading, but even Moonreader has a blue light filter in their settings. For the price, I think it is a great value. I do have a S10 and S2 as well from Samsung.

I got this tablet a couple of weeks ago, (in white) and I am very pleased! :) I was worried about getting the 7", because I didn't want it to be too small and I wanted something great, for my first tablet ever. Because of this, and before I ordered, I tried to find size comparisons online, to see how big it was. I also watched YouTube videos, so I could see people handling it and the size of it in their hands. I started thinking, also, that my new Galaxy S10 phone has like 6.1" screen and I didn't want a tablet that was probably only slightly bigger - because I might as well just use my phone for watching stuff, then. (In my defense, never had one, like I said. Lol) I eventually took the dive anyway, because of an e-certificate I received. I figured: Worse case, it was free anyway. I got the tablet very soon after, and it's definitely bigger than I anticipated. I didn't expect that! Maybe because I didn't factor in the width of the screen and all that other stuff, but they are no where near the same size. This made me extremely happy! I am so glad I bought it, it's got a very beautiful screen and graphics, also. It's perfect for watching my shows on, and I love to watch it in bed. That's my favorite use for it. I have always wanted a mini TV to mount on the wall by my bed, where I lay on my side, in my bedroom. That way, my hubby can watch whatever he wants on our actual TV and I have my own thing - without having to have two TVs in one bedroom. And no fighting over the TV! Now, I might just mount this on the wall! :) I always wanted it to be a mini cute one anyway and I have always been intrigued by mini TVs. It is not only perfect in every way I need it to be, it really is a great tablet and I am confident (as long as you haven't had many other huge sized tablets before this, like me) this one will be perfect for you, as well! As I already mentioned, I have not had any others, but even with no other previous tablets to compare it to: No complaints from me, about anything! It was already fast, but I put a 4GB SD card in it (it's all I had) and it's even faster now, it seems. I can only imagine if you put a bigger one in it! They always say, "things seem so much better when they are free," and as much as I 100% agree with that, I know now that I would have liked it either way. It's such a nice tablet, for such a cheap price, that now that I saw it and got to experience it, I would have definitely bought it either way. You can't go wrong with this one. It would be great for you, and more than any kid would ever need. For how cheap it is, I would probably just get this one for a child, instead of a child's tablet, just because of all of the capabilities and the fact that: as long as they took care of it, they could still continue to use it when they were older, instead of having to upgrade from a child's tablet to a regular tablet. (Do as I did and buy a really cheap shockproof case w/ a built-in screen protector, like I did, and you won't have to worry!! it will be protected) I love the thing! Best recent purchase I have made.

This is an excellent tablet that has worked well for me for several years. The 7" size is perfect for me, anything larger won't fit in a pocket. I use this mostly for email and some web browsing while traveling. Unfortunately, when I wanted to update to a newer model, the operating system and specifications for the new 7" tablets is no better than the 3 year old device I already have. Too many apps are coming up as no longer compatible with anything older than Android 6.

Purchased in June, 2018. I love everything about this tablet but one, but this one is the deal killer: the system software (and bloatware) and miscellaneous files use up so much of the internal drive space I cannot install a modest amount of apps. I consistently am down to 500 mg. I had to delete Google Sheets, Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, Kindle and Audible, even after I moved what I could to an SD card. I do not want to use the browser instead of an app.

I've had several samsung products, a few phone a tv and this tablet. This tablet was by far the worst of the bunch. I had to send this tablet to Samsung on 4 different occasions to get it repaired due to a recurring issue with the Wi-Fi and soft touch buttons not working. The 5th time it went out on me I requested and was approved for a replacement after their initial option was to again send it in and have it repaired. The level of customer service I've rec'd this time around has been sub-par to say the least. Too many customer service reps that didn't know how to help me, little to no communication from Samsung along the way. I had to call several times for updates because I didn't hear from them when they said I would. It has been 2 months and my tablet still has not been replaced and the replacement was approved about a month ago. This whole experience has made me question any future purchases from Samsung.

Loaded with stuff you might use or not and does not have an easy way to make space for much else. I added 128G external card but the amount of applications that can be moved to the card seem very limited. In using the Google maps option to download local offline maps I got no space to update without deleting games. Too many applications insist on staying in the limited 8G of main memory. If there is an option to force apps to the external card it does not seem to be obvious. Was going through the Google maps functions. Had installed local maps for offline use, it is a WiFi tablet, and some areas just do not have it, so I wanted to make the best use of the maps. I was able to mark a pin on a part of the area not covered by the offline maps. When I got back online and able to look at the pin it was good. Was able to look at routes using different travel methods and was impressed. But the storage memory management needs some updating to really excell. I'm am enjoying playing games on the tablet, space is limited to just a few. I do have game generated pictures and camera generated pictures being stored on the card. The camera setup is good the maximum picture sizes are different for front and back cameras. Did get get some nice holiday pictures and videos. ... did delete one for motion blur. On the whole I am enjoying my new tablet, my first Samsung product.

Before I got this tablet, I didn't know that 8GB storage wasn't a good amount, around half of it is already taken by the system and there is some built in apps that I don't want that I can't delete. I have all of my apps on the SD card that the app developers allow and all of my pictures and other files on the SD card. I also use smart manager a lot to delete the unnecessary files. I still can't seem to be able to get much apps. Other than this I think this tablet works great, it is fast and durable and I use it a lot. I would recommend this tablet to someone that doesn't use a lot of storage, I am a person that uses a lot of storage, so that could be it too. The price is good. I like Samsung products and I have the Samsung Galaxy S4.

Bought this tablet to take the place of my S2 when I had to send that one in for service. I am totally impressed with this small tablet! I connected it to my Bluetooth keyboard so I could use it for email. Also use it for web-surfing and watching movies. It connects quickly with my wi-fi signal and is pretty fast. The battery life is fantastic. I can use it all day and still have about 40 to 50% of the charge left in the evening when I turn it off. I have put in a 64gb sd card to store all of the photos I have on it. It only has 8 gb of internal storage and much of that is already in use so I only downloaded a couple of games I like to play while waiting for appointments, etc. There are limitations because of the small amount of storage but you can get around some of that by using an sd card. The small rear speaker is adequate but when I listen to music I use my Bluetooth speaker or my earphones. I bought a nice little MoKo Slim-Fit case for it and even though I have my S2 back I still am using this tablet often.

I love the Galaxy Tab and all of its features. The unit was good value for the money. HOWEVER, after a few days of ownership, I found that I could no longer pick up my home Wi-Fi. The unit only shows me the twirling donut searching for Wi-Fi. At first, it worked fine but now I cannot pick up my Wi-Fi system in the house even though three other home computers can do so. I have tried everything so far but still no Wi-Fi - only "searching." I believe that I need some help from Samsung.

I Recently (2 weeks ago) bought brand name tablet ( I wish I could write the brand) because of the features they were offering for the price paid. It took me 4 days to find out it was not the right tablet for the purpose needed ( toddler + occasional reading) . It freezes very often and charges very slow. Two days ago I bought this Galaxy Tab A6 7" as an alternative... and We are loving it! +Bright screen! + outdoor screen mode ( almost better than my Galaxy S6) +Simple interface +Kids mode is the best in its kind so far. very easy to use for kids. +Many apps choices +Expandable storage Micro SD - the only thing I wish it was better is price point! not expensive for all it comes with though.

This is proving to be an average tablet. You get what you pay for. Maybe I've been spoiled by my Samsung phone. It's slower than I thought it should be. The screen is not very touch sensitive--you have to press the screen harder than normal to get a result. The display is nice, and the outdoor feature is a plus. Good battery life. And plus, it's a Samsung.

I am a fan of Samsung products..whether its a TV, a cellphone or in this case a tablet. Great compact design and the speed and resolution of images is Excellent. The sound is not bad either! I use to get access to emails while on the go, show images to clients and play a few games when waiting at the doctors office.

Bought this table to replace a refurbished tablet that went dead in only 6 months so no warranty. I purchased the new Tab 6A due to missing all the features I had on my Galaxy 4. Love the camera but lost all the pictures I had before so installed a flash card in my new one. The features are great and need I say more made me happy to own a Samsung once more.

My tablet is awesome i use it for school, my music, movies, and work i bought a bluetooth keyboard for it and they work together phenomenally all the control functions work and it has other functions ican do that i couldn't do on a computer or laptop.
