Constantly disconnects from phone (Zflip 3) when watch battery runs down, when updates are installed. Watch very seldom makes an eight hour (8) day. Watch is capable of monitoring sleep, but battery life doesn't allow it.

Battery life is abysmal. It goes from 100% to 30% from 8am to 3pm almost without use.
The health app is convoluted and not helpful.
No Telegram app. What?
No Nest app. What what?
When used in the car with android auto - it would throw incoming calls to watch instead of the head unit.
Just returned mine.

I bought this watch 44mm watch 4 and the thing doesn't last 3/4 of the day. I watched it delete the battery life just sitting on my desk. I bought it at a Tmobile store had to pay for their help and an additional line. Well it is always using my note 20 ultra 5G # so why am I paying for another line? It also won't let my note connect to my car which is important because God for bid I am in a wreck the car will notify 911 with my exact location. I am taking it back tomorrow and am still out 60 plus restocking fee?

I bought this watch a month ago, I love the watch. my only down fall is the watch battery does not even last all day. I had to by a extra charger for worker. But the watch its self is awesome.

I had the original galaxy watch then the galaxy watch active 2. The active 2 was my favorite. Decided to upgrade to the galaxy watch 4 because it just looked nice. However, it was not at all worth upgrading. I've decided to switch to apple and have the series 7 watch which I like so much more. Drawback, I had to switch to an apple phone in order to get it. Still a Samsung fan but just not with the galaxy watch 4.

Bought less than a month ago. It tells me it has to cool off. On Sleep mode it is dead in the morning and hot and makes noise batteries Wes fully charged

I really liked the look of the Classics. Bought both and returned both. The 42mm a good size but barely got a day out of its battery. The 46mm is just too big. I am rating the 42mm. I tried them both for a week.

I upgraded to the Watch 4 Classic from my Watch 3 over a month ago and, overall really like it; here are my pros & cons (over the Watch 3):
Pros:
1) The new operating system is a plus and improvement over the old one. It runs faster and you now have a wider selection of apps from the Google store and can only assume more will be on the way.
2) New sensors work much better (and are more accurate). I have a few health issues and track many health indicators daily. I have found the pulse and blood oxygen readings to be very accurate when compared to my other monitors and when checked against the readings when at the doctors. I hope they ad a BP function soon.
3) I like the new app and other layouts, for me accessing various functions is a lot more intuitive. IMO, it is much easier and nicer to simply swipe up to access the app menu that you can easily rearrange to your liking.
4) Improved, more reliable connection to my phone (Galaxy S21 Ultra). Had a few issues with my Watch 3 connectivity to my phone, it would drop off every now and then and health information (steps, heart rate, etc.) wouldn't update; haven't had any issues with the Watch 4.
Cons:
1) NO GOOGLE ASSISTANT! My house is set up throughout with 'Google' devices and one of the main reasons I upgraded was to have Google Assistant on my watch, as was advertised as 'coming soon' .. still waiting.
2) Battery life. I would get 3-4 days on my Watch 3 between charges, now I'm luck to get 2 full days. I don't use the constant on option and can only assume that if you did, your time between charges would be one day or less.
Lastly, I do not like 'strap and buckle' watch bands, so, as with my Watch 3, the first thing I did when I ordered my Watch 4 was order a new titanium band.

In less than a month I have had to return my watch and order a new one 4 times whichis ridiculous.
#1 The battery life is horrible in 5 min it will go from 100% to 91% not even using anything just leaving it alone.
#2 IT OVER HEATS I can't make a phone call because 1 min into the phone call I get a warning that my phone is overheated and it automatically goes into airplane mode and it turns off which is annoying.
#3 Can't use any of the app because it will totally consume the battery life to 0%.
I got this watch as a birthday present from my husband and so far I'm really disappointed with Samsung is the worst watch ever. All 3 watches that the battery life was crap and they all overheated just order my 4th one and if it's the same you can be sure I'm not buying it again.
I HOPE THEY FIX THIS because so far I'm really frustrated and disappointed with how this watch came out.

I'm a loyal galaxy user. I've only used Samsung for the past few years. I previously owned the galaxy watch active 2 and I had a better experience with the previous watch than I did this watch. I did like the upgraded Bixby features and designs, however I felt a significant downgrade in battery life. My previous watch would last nearly 2 days from one charge, but this one didn't even last 24 hours for me. I expected more from the galaxy watch4.

Upgraded Active2 and regretting the decision. I like the new features (body comp, etc.), but the battery makes it not worth it. I use very few features, keep it in battery save mode, and just wear it to track activity throughout the day, but it still has to be charged AT LEAST once a day - usually more!
The watch face options are much more limited & I don't care for them, but that's a fairly small issue. Overall, the Active2 is just a better watch. I will be returning the 4.
Last night in bedtime mode (no alerts, no screen, nothing), I lost almost 35% of the battery! If they'd fix the issue, I'd recommend it, but for now I suggest you keep your old watch.

I received the watch a week ago and was amazed at how easy it was to pair with my phone, very intuitive. It is so light and comfortable that I hardly know it is on my wrist. I can do so much more with this watch than I could with my old Fitbit. One of the features I like best is receiving all my messages and emails without having to go to my phone.

My original watch was a s3 classic and felt heavy big and bulky. I was jealous of the apple watch my co workers had and thought it looked so better than the samsung. Since receiving my 4 series my co workers compliment me on looks and complain that there series 6 does not look or feel as nice as mine. I finally have something apple finatics seek to like better than theres instead of always being jealous of theres. Great product works like they say and have no issues...great job and creating a watch and product that is better than apple

I love this watch...however still missing some great features like the battery life was a little better, more watch faces for sure more access to apps like fb messanger, Google assistant and blood pressure. The sleep app I wish I could customize also I work night shift so it would be nice if I could set the days I work into play on my watch.

I just received my watch earlier this week to replace my older Gear S3. I wanted to go with something smaller on my wrist. I liked the looks of the Gear but it was too bulky for my line of work. Very happy with the sizing and functionality of the Watch4. The battery seems to last plenty long as I tend to charge my watch every night and it still has about 75% after a full day of use.

I have been waiting to upgrade my Galaxy Watch Active for quite some time and have not been disappointed in my new Galaxy Watch 4. I love the lower profile for the watch face and really love the battery life. I kept my Active on power saving mode for most of the time I had the watch so I really love having a watch that can hold it's power for almost 48 hours.

I finally upgraded from one of the original smart watches, the Gear Sport, because the battery life was starting to dwindle. The battery life of the Galaxy Watch 4 is even worse than my watch that is years old. I preordered and am very disappointed that I didn't wait until I was able to read reviews because I would've never purchased.
I run a lot and have been annoyed with exercise features. All I want to hear is my mile pace time but I get an entire summary every mile even when I've turned off audio guide. Same with biking which is even more annoying because how often it happens. Also, if a text comes through while in exercise mode, it goes back to the home screen and not the workout screen. It's also very difficult to get the screen to turn on by rotating your wrist. It always takes two tries which is very annoying while running. I like the look and don't mind it when not exercising but get frustrated while exercising. Here's to hoping a free watch is being offered the next time I upgrade my phone and can get this one traded in.

I'm extremely disappointed in this product I had such high hopes for the new wat h. I can not make it threw the day with this battery life. It really sucks. My galaxy active watch could last 2 days while connected to my phone and music. And the distance it stays connected to the phone sucks as well. I should've kept my active and got the active 2. I also don't like the features being like the apple watch if I wanted an apple product I would've bought them. Very disappointed in samsung and considering switching inside of upgrading.

The Good - stylish, straight forward and easy to use.
The Bad - requires 3rd part app for customization, battery life.
Overall I have enjoyed my experience with the Classic 4. It does everything that I expected. (i.e. Time, Music control, face customization).
My main concern getting a smartwatch was having something big and bulky on my wrist. The Classic 46mm isn't much bigger than several other watched I currently own, the band it came with was comfortable and prevented slippage.
Initially taking it out of the box, battery life was a major concern as it didn't seem to last 24 hours without needing a recharge. Getting the initial software updated and turning off the LTE has extended the battery life out to over 48hrs.
Changing the Watch Face is just a click of the button. The default watch faces on the Galaxy Wearable app are limited and the customization allowed are very basic. You'll most likely get your watch faces from a 3rd party app for this reason.
There is also a limited number of ringtones and notification sounds. This was frustrating to me as I enjoy customizing my sound effects to go with my displays. I was able to find a work around this problem, but it took a 3rd party app and some technical experience.
The only problematic issue I've had was a allergic reaction. After wearing the watch for a few days, I begun to notice a red blistering ring. It was heartbreaking to think I wouldn't be able to continue using something so expensive anymore.
Not wanting to admit defeat, I deep cleaned the watch and attempted to wear on my other arm. I noticed no reaction after a week and switched the watch back to the previous arm without further incident.

I purchased the watch 4 in the lte version. After fully charging it overnight, I wore it to work the next day. My battery was draining rapidly and within 6 hours, my battery was at 3%. I didn't have anything high draining watch faces or apps. that should have caused this. I have the old galaxy watch and it's battery life lasts 2 days. Samsung definitely needs to pull this watch off of the market.

I purchased the 40mm. LTE version of the watch 4 from Verizon. After charging the watch overnight, I wore it to work the next day, my watch didn't even make it through my 8 hour work day, it was at 3% after 6 hours. I told Verizon about it and they exchanged my watch for a replacement. Once again the watch battery kept rapidly draining, I didn't have any draining watch faces or apps., that should have caused this. I have a old Galaxy watch and it stays charged for 2 days. I am also frustrated, because now I have to pay a $50 dollar restocking fee per watch, which means I have to pay $100 for a product that is obviously defective.

I just received my watch yesterday wore it for less then 12 hours loved it. This morning it went through an update the battery instantly tanked and than it was said it was too hot to charge my house is air conditioned the charger was not plugged in before I before I tried to charge it.. contacted customer service immediately, went through the whole support via messaging, rebooted several times which then killed the battery . They had me call customer support who then Could do nothing because it was dead, they sent me to the warranty center who told me I pretty much had to return it. I was going to order the same watch however it won't come in until October 13th so I ordered the Galaxy watch 3 because it's still an upgrade from the active watch 2 and I'm really interested in the oxygen monitoring at night that's the only reason I'm upgrading because I've been snoring and having some sleep issues lately.

I have had a few watches but this is the first one that I love the look & fit of. It looks very sleek & you can dress it up or down. My only complaint is the battery life, I have everything turned on & it lasts about a day and a half. I know I can optimize the battery life by turning some options off but what's the point of having a smart watch with all of these features if I can't readily have them all right at my finger tips.
