I bought this watch about a month ago and it has been great. It's very light and comfortable on my wrist. The touchscreen is super easy to use. This watch has so many features and options. I owned the S3 frontier before this and it was an ok watch but a bit clunky. This one is so much better. I was worried the screen would be too small for my big fingers but it works fine and I haven't had any problems.

Picked this up a few weeks ago and it works great I was originally worried about the battery but I wear it to school and work from about 7:30 am to about 9:30 pm and I normally end up with about 30 percent battery left.

As compared to the galaxy watch active 3 that I traded in, I've noticed that the sensitivity of the watch is such that more often than not, I need to press the side buttons to see my watch face, rather than simply flick my wrist. I find it inconvenient at best, and a nuisance at worst. The new features are great though, and the new watch faces are interesting at least.

I've been using Samsung phones and tablets for 5 years to great satisfaction but never bothered with the Galaxy watch. The first few generations just didn't seem worth it (and they were ugly). Seeing early reviews for the 4 though caught my eye. My fitbit had recently broke and was considering giving a smart watch a try so I said ended up picking up the 4. Three weeks in and this things legit. The fitness tracking is way more broad then I thought. For someone who wants to see more than just how many steps they got or how many min they were "active" the pairing of this and the Samsung health app gives u a more focused breakdown of what your routine looks like. It sounds stupid, but running through everything has made my workouts more fun (we'll see how long that lasts). Accessibility is also on point. Whether it's the layout, customization, or even simple navigation the 4 just works. Change the song, read a message, set an alarm, its all quick and easy. Apparently they also teamed up with Google to make a better app store and OS. From a quality standpoint, regardless of how u feel about google, this seems smart and has worked well so far. Overall, this things clean.

Overall the galaxy watch 4 is a nice watch. The addition of the Google Play store to get apps is great! Hopefully in the future they will add the ability to use Google Assistant. The only negative comment is the battery life is not great, I have to charge this every night, so that my watch can last throughout the next day. So if you like to use the sleep features with the 40mm, you have to work around this issue.

I had the watch 3 for almost a year but had to upgrade to the 4. I love the slimmer body and look. Everything I loved about the 3 are still in the 4 but the graphics are so much better. I use this mostly for the activity tracker and I love how easy it is to use.

Couple weeks into using it. There are a couple downsides like super short battery life (24 hrs without training recordings or always on display active.) And some absolutely critical apps crashing (Spotify and Strava) they also loose connection with other devices. It really sucks. Besides that, watch it super responsive, screen is amazing, built quality and comfort is absolutely flawless. The rest of the apps worked really good.

I got mine about a month ago. I really like the design of the casing as it is not as bulky as other smart watches. It has a smaller screen but I can still read it. I like that all the controls are touchscreen vs using the bezel like older models. This is my first smart watch and I am enjoying it.
