Tumi Bracelet broke after one week

I bought the Tumi edition from Samsung.com TUMI bracelet broke after a week (at the stiches). No customer service from both sides (Samsung and Tumi). Very disappointing quality for the extra price tag!

Do not waste your money on this, this watch costs more because it is TUMI, but samsung doesnt stand by their product. Purchased this for my husband 8 months ago, band completely frayed on the edge and started to tear. I had to send watch in for them to replace band, then when i send it in, they say its not covered, because my husband wore the watch and its his fault the wrist band wore down after 8 months of use. Wanted us to pay for replacement band. They dont stand by their poorly made products, save your money

I'll start by saying the Tumi band is a very nice look and it compliments the look of the S3. Pretty stiff first putting it on, but the band will break in. I wasn't really sure what to expect out of the S3, or a smart watch in general. Not saying I was let down... just thought it would be a little more compatible with some non-Samsung apps. Examples would be Google Play Music and Google Maps. All of my music is on Google Play Music and I trust Google maps for navigation. There are ways around this to continue to use those apps with the watch, which I've done, but wish it was easier to do. Also, I was ripping some boards on a table saw this morning with the watch on and for some reason the watch thought I was taking a bike ride... I guess the angle and motion of my watch hand made it think that. It's definitely something to get used to, but I'm excited that I have it and anxious to utilize all of it's features. I'll use different watch faces for different places I go (or outfits I wear). I don't have a comment on the battery life yet as I've just got it, but it claims to have pretty decent run time on a charge. Using the watch as a phone works just fine, but if you're around any background noise, it's pretty difficult to hear, even with volume up. I think it's best utilized with some ear phones. What I like about the phone function the most is being able to see who's calling without taking out your phone. There's a lot of health tracking features built in... some of which I will probably remove simply because I don't really need them (like a heart rate monitor), but I do see the benefit of them being available for others. I've got to spend some time with it to realize more of it's features, but so far fairly pleased with the purchase.

I haven't realized if I really need one, until I had it. The convenience of taking calls without having to pull out my mobile or search for my mobile and making payments at stores without having to take out my mobile/wallet, reason enough for me to jump on the smart watch wagon. I am glad I had this. The premium feel of the watch makes me wear watch all through out day, I use it in swimming pool. Sound quality and mic are good.

My title says it all. This device is simply amazing. I have owned 3 different Samsung watches (Gear, Gear S2 and now this) and this is by far the best! The body of the device is beefy and overtly masculine. I don't see a lot of women signing up for this watch. Samsung really should get with the program an offer a smaller version for women. Between the weight of this device and its looks, you feel like you're wearing a 'real' watch - unlike the Apple "watch". Around the face of the watch is a rotating bezel. This is your main navigation input for the Gear S3. You simply spin the bezel and you'll advance through lists and rotate around the (usually) circular menus it uses. You can also swipe and tap to move around . The display is fantastic and the watchface choices are excellent as well. The build quality is excellent, the screen is gorgeous, and the bezel navigation is intuitive. I love the ability to get and make phone calls, texts, and emails. It is also compatible with my SamsungPay account. Pairing the device to my S8 was VERY simple. Overall this is an EXCELLENT wearable if you're looking for one.

I was given this watch for Christmas as a gift. I have been looking at them for a few months. I have been amazed by how much I've used different features on the watch and increased usage of phone features also. I was suprised that as it connects to my phone with Bluetooth that my Samsung wireless speakers also stay connected. Keeps track of sleep fitness water and calorie intake also. It's amazing.

Would you buy a Rolex without the Rolex dial I doubt it . Well that is what is happening here. I purchased this watch and no Tumi dial and no information on how to get it. Went into the different dials on the phone and on the app no Tumi dial. I called tech support they have no idea how to get it and did not know the watch even existed or how to get the dial. So i asked for a return and i had to call a different number. So now returning the watch . I seemed to be a nice watch i can buy a cheaper version without the Tumi dial and band. That is all that separates it from the other frontier watches by Samsung. And that is what i am going to do.

Tumi Plus a Different Watch Face Anytime I Want It....

I am digging the watch and watch face selections quite a bit. It took too much effort to get the Tumi watch face though. If you experience download issues (I have a Note 8 and the download is fixed for that phone now) I highly recommend Facebook support. They were awesome. It took a week but they don't have to deal with the phone script and can actually help. They also check in with you, but I digress. One other thing I like about the watch are the Gear Apps. I don't live my life by the watch apps but find the apps I use to be helpful and quite frankly awesome.

I ordered this watch from Samsung and when it arrived the watch had the Tumi band but not the face. I contacted Samsung and nobody had any idea of what this watch included. I went as far as telling one of their reprisentatives to go on line and read the features of the watch - this was also a waste of time. If you like this watch for just the band then by all means order it but if you also want the watch with the special Tumi face forget about it you are going to be disapointed

Overall build quality is excellent. Software is good. (I have an iPhone so functionality is somewhat limited - message and email apps don't work - I'm only able to get incoming text messages and email notifications but cannot reply or view older texts). I also noticed a big battery drain on iPhone after pairing this Watch, but since all those are issues caused I believe by OS, I won't make a big deal about it. I especially like the Tumi strap, very luxurious and expensive looking. Only problem is when I opened the package there's a little note telling me to go to this website www.galxy.us/tumi (that's not a typo, it is spelled "galxy", not "galaxy"), and/or to scan the code in the card to find the exclusive companion watchface, but when I did that, it only took me to the Gear App Store main page in which the Tumi Watch Face was nowhere to be found. Even though I spent several HOURS searching for the Watch Face, for the life of me I couldn't find it anywhere. It should come pre installed in the Watch to begin with! Help!

Have been using Tumi products for years and would like to get the Tumi Version of the Gear. Most of the functions works but not as well when tether to the iPhone. Since my company uses iPhone, I'm stuck to use IOS vs Android. However, when open the box, it has a piece of paper telling you to go to GALXY.US/Tumi to install the watch face. when scanned the QR bar code, it takes me to the the web page and then the Gear S apps then to the Galaxy Apps. Searched the Official watchface but no Tumi. Has anyone able to get the TUMI watchface?
