band worked fine for a few months. then all of sudden won't power on again. i tried several tips like holding the bottom for 10 seconds and releasing it and also doing it while in the charger but no luck. i can't believe this band just lasted 18 months.

i couldn't configure the watch to my new phone. my old phone was broken and i got a new phone and tried to configure the watch on the new phone, it told me to disconnect from my previous phone which i can not do because it was totally broken. i bought the watch from bestbuy in september 2020 and on the samsung website it says the warranty expired on august 2020 for this product. i can't use the device and if have to fix it then i have to pay for the service which i guess would cost me more than the device.

this is great, keeps track of my steps my heart rate give me notifications when my phone ring and messages. i've never had any problems with it, i like it so much, i bought another one. i have one i wear for work and one for my time. i would recommend to my family and friends.

wow. i haven't had this device for much over one year and it just flat out died. of course it is out of the warranty period. so if you want to spend $99/year for a wearable, maybe this is for you, but i got much more durability and consistency out of fitbit devices. nevermind that this particular device does not sync with 99% of the apps out there for tracking purposes. additionally, i had some glitch issues around the times that product updates were sent through - it would stop in the middle of workouts for example, but it seemed the latest software download fixed that. long story, short. there are more reliable products out there with more versatility. in a crowded field, based on this experience i would not buy samsung again.

i gifted it to my fiancée. i liked the design, small and light.
it's been only a month and suddenly draining battery so fast. from 100% to 30% in an hour without even in use. and then in another month it stopped charging, doesn't turn on. so much disappointment. i wish i could have get refund.

loved it for the first month. then started acting up. i have to reset every other day. does not track steps regularly. does not track sleep regularly. haven't used it in a couple months.

my initial expectations weren't high because i had an idea of what i was getting. at the time i purchased this, i really just wanted a samsung product that could do more than just tell time and not be a smartwatch.

Been wearing for a few months. Features are great. Much better than the FitBit for phone syncing, comfort, feature flexibility. But the band is AWFUL and keeps falling off and the battery life is only about 3 days, which I could deal with if only it didn't take a VERY long time to recharge. ~2 hours

My Fitbit Charge 2 died after only 2 years, and I chose the Samsung Galaxy Fit over the Fitbit Charge 3 as a replacement. I ended up ordering directly from Samsung, since they were able to deliver faster due to the virus-related backlog at Amazon.
It took me a few days to get used to, but now I love it. My favorite features are the variety of easy-to-read watch faces and the activity tracker.
Unlike the Fitbit which requires you to register 250 steps every hour to be considered active, this one reminds you in real-time and registers activity right away.
For other activities, there is a wide variety of choices, some of which register automatically. I have not done any extensive testing on this.
But you can enter exercise manually or start the workout timer manually on the band. It works very well.
The app isn't as user-friendly as The Fitbit app, and I ended up downloading two apps that work together.
Also, I don't think you can scan food labels with the app.
But overall, I am very happy with the whole package, and I think it's a very good value.

I bought this and it arrived yesterday. I was very excited, I took it out of the box to charge it immediately. It was completely dead apparently, which it a bit rare these days. Most of my items have come with at least 50% charge, but no worries. I charged it, and it was taking forever. It needed to be at 30% for it to update the wearable. Fine. I finally get to 30% and it updates, then it's dropped down to 4% even though it was on the charger the whole time. Well, that's a little worrying. So it basically lives on the charger for most of the day.
Then I have it charging all night and in the morning at 6:30 AM I put it on at 100%, by 8:30 AM it was already around 75% It is now about 2:50 PM and it's just under 30%. I don't have continuous heart rate on and I lowered the LED screen light from the default. I read it was supposed to give me a week and it hasn't even lasted a day. I haven't been turning the screen on excessively, I haven't been using the exercise tracking features and I can't figure out where to see what's causing the battery drain. I've been in an office all day, hardly rigorous activity that would drain an activity tracker. I really hope this is a bizarre fluke that gets better ASAP because right now I'm very miffed. I have things that drain fast, but they also charge fast, if this is going to take forever to charge and drain in an instant I will not be a happy camper.
