I had this band (Gear Fit2) for 18 months. It worked fine until month 18. Just like my previous Gear S2. The battery dies. And stops charging. Also the band desing is not good. It gets losing it's point every time I get my hand out of my jeans pocket. Almost hit the ground several times!! Not recomennded if you want something that lasts more than 18 months.

I bought this watch in March, and it seemed to have great features. I had just had back surgery, and had gained a lot of weight from back pain. I started walking again after the surgery, and the walks became faster, and longer. I didn't always want to bring my phone with me, but wanted to track what I was doing. I bought the fit2, and loved It! After using it a while, I started to find some flaws. First was the battery use with some features. You can play bluetooth music on it, but it eats battery too fast. So one features down. Next issue is tracking. I have large discrepancies in distance measured between the watch, and my galaxy 8. I can't say which is wrong, but my typical 1 hour jog measures 6 miles on my phone, and 5 on the fit. Next problem is durability. After 9 months, I started having issues with both charging and display. I don't wear the device into the shower, and the only time it gets wet is when I wash my hands. Contacting service started smooth, but took a turn. They have now fixed it, and I'm waiting to get it back. Another issue is band design. The design stinks, the band can easily fall off. All that said, I've lost 55 pounds since I started using it in conjunction with my fitness pal. I was (and am still) considering upgrading to the gear sport, but these issues worry me. It is a good tracker, but has some issues.

I have really enjoyed my Gearfit 2. It has everything I need for my daily workouts and/or runs. I do not wear my glasses when I run so the big bright readable screen is a huge plus for me. I also like when I wear it that I forget it is there very comfortable and very easy to use. The only thing I wish it had was a settings under running where you could chose 5K, 10K, half marathon or full marathon on distance settings instead of just whole or half miles. Beyond that I truly love this device it is exactly what I needed for my marathon training and work outs.

Does everything you'd want, but features could use improvement. The heart rate monitor only works if you don't move your wrist at all. Small little movements will give you an error. One feature that would be nice would be a microphone to reply to messages, but only if it wouldn't make the next Gear Fit too bulky.

This does exactly what I wanted. Text message and default answer that I can add to and phone calls that I also can add responses too. The only issue is battery life. Wish it last longer. But I can live with that.

I bought the Samsung watch over the others because I have Samsung phones and tablets. This watch has GPS, is water resistant, and has features the others do not have. I like the bigger display and you can download different watch faces and apps to run on it. I downloaded a golf app that looks pretty good and doesn't use all my battery. However, At best I can only get 2 days out of the battery even when I don't use it for anything else. I am disappointed with that because all the ads claim up to 4 days before charging. I did have some issues charging the watch in the beginning. I have read that an update may have shortened the battery life. Other than that I am happy with the watch. It is very easy to operate

I originally had plan to use Gear Fit2 as fitness tracker only because I have a classic watch. As I used Gear Fit2 when I work out, especially running outside, I feel more comfortable when I wear it. I think more comfortable than the classic watch. Regarding performance as a tracker, it records my activity accurately such as number of steps, speed of activity, or etc. Also, the battery is one of most satisfactory points. Gear Fit2 operates a little bit more than 2 days when it is fully charged (100%). And it takes less than two hours to fully charged. So far, I don't see any inconvenience due to the battery. Currently, I use Gear Fit2 everyday, replacing the classic watch. Every one or two days, I check my activities and try to exercise more by observing the records. I think Gear Fit2 is really good for people who seek for tracking devices as well as who are finding a watch.

I bought this to help me get back in shape. The fact that it can measure my spO2levels and check my pulse is a plus. Ease of use is great and the fact that it accurately reported my sleep patterns great. I was originally going for an S2 but decided it was too big. This is perfect.

Overall very happy with this smartwatch. Enjoy the interaction between my phone and it. Enjoy being able to get notifications on the watch without looking at the phone. I bought it mainly to keep track of my daily activities and it does that well. I did find that if I am going to bike, I need to start the activity manually as opposed to have it be automatically. If I do not start manually then it misses info for the ride. I do not run, so not sure how that activity would be affected. Didn't realize when I bought it that it has Wi-Fi integration as well. That feature is awesome. It allows me to leave the phone on my desk, and be elsewhere in the house/yard and get notifications. Though on Wi-Fi it does not get notified of incoming calls, only missed ones. ( It could be I don't have it set up correctly)

For the price it is worth it. I will good use out of the product. Used others not as good. Just hoping that it will be loose. Apps on the Band will be enough to get both Watch and Phone working together. All my products are Samsung. Have not had to change them.

This is so comfortable to wear and easy to read the face. Gave options to download different faces which I found most helpful to me. As a senior citizen, I found it pretty easy to use although I do have a few questions. I just need to make time to go to the store to get the answers. The Samsung personnel are so helpful when I do have questions. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

After a customary once every 4 years trip to the doctor I got diagnosed with high blood pressure! hooray for me, Do you want to go on the tablet? no says I, can I try to reduce it myself? Of course says he to my male 44yr old body.! more exercise less food and you need your heart rate to be high for 1/2 hour approx. 3 times a week. So I entered the realm of the smart watch and settled on gear fit 2. No need for phone when out cycling, updates to Samsung health when I come home, records heart rate while im on the bike or walking. Also gives me gps data on the phone showing where I was when heart rate was high etc... Its effortless to use with my galaxy s7, and im back to wearing a watch at work monitoring steps and heart rate. PS it also tells the time! (date etc..) all notifications seem to work, evernote & any.do included. Cant find a con with it, if I was to be fussy, the strap is getting a bit grubby and sometimes it unclasps when im rooting in my pants pocket, but doesn't fall off. very happy with it.

Like the style of the Gear Fit 2; especially that it has a more secure band than other activity watches. Neat face choices. Have owned for 1 week and still getting familiar with all the features. Originally set it up to not connect to my phone, thinking I did not really care about all the perks that would provide. After a while I realized that to utilize the full functionality of some of the health features, including the step counter, calorie counter, etc. it needs to be paired to a smart phone.

This product works well but don't trust the sleep analysis. I have chronic insomnia and it says I am sleeping all night with 95% efficiency. How do I know this is not right? I was driving for 2 hours non stop the other day when I got to my destination a notification told me I was sleeping for 1 hour 36 minutes with 88% efficiency. If this problem was fixed it would be great. I already know the pulse monitor will not be 100% right. But to have something tell me I was asleep when I was wide awake and driving that is a little unsettling.

Great looks and clean design. Fits comfortably on the wrist. The step tracking and auto sleep detection worked great. Ability to put music on the device and pair with BT headphones during a workout is fabulous. The notifications are great just like on the Gear S2. Overall battery life is decent, and for me a quick charge during morning shower kept the device topped off. I love the running feature as I run several days a week. Occasionally the GPS would take a little time to acquire when not connected to phone.

I love my new Gear Fit 2. I used to have the Gear S2 but recently sold it to buy the new Gear Fit 2 and I am extremely happy with my choice. I wanted a wearable device that would be geared toward fitness but still retain some features that the Gear S2 had such as notifications but not too many and I get that perfect balance with my Gear Fit 2. I also enjoy that the Fit 2 is water and dust resistant which I was disappointed that the Gear S2 was neither of these. I also like that the Fit 2 is intuitive when I workout by selecting the workout I am currently performing without me having to manually enter in the information like I did with the S2, I also really enjoy the great battery life and the sleep monitoring as well. I used to take my Gear S2 off when I went to bed but with the Fit 2 being able to monitor my sleep I never take my Fit 2 off now. Thanks for making a great product Samsung, keep them coming!
