This is to replace the built in microwave that was installed in our new build home 12 years ago. So glad this model was still available. Although pricey because of being built in, if it lasts another 12 years then it's well worth the money. Hardest part of replacement was the face plate surrounding the front of the unit.

Love this microwave had one for 11 years and it quit heating so I bought another one just like it only in stainless steel it is so easy to clean then have all of those seams just has the one right around the top looks really nice in my kitchen hope this one last 11 years you can't beat it for the price

I had one similar but it was 1.8cu.ft & was made in 2013. The only thing with this is it doesn't have help button or stop/start turntable.

This Microwave is very nice. It has a mute option. This is a nice feature because I get up before the rest of the family. I can heat up a cup of water and I don't have to worry about the beeping noise waking up anyone.

This product works great for us. We use it every day. We had the exact same one for the last seven years. It stopped working so we just got another one. Not sure what the life span should be, but we though seven years was good considering products nowadays.

This product worked perfectly for a replacement for my JEB1860SM1SS that died (my fault). It fit in the trim kit perfectly even though I was told by GE and the store I purchased it from that none of their microwaves would fit old trim kits. Posting here in case it helps someone else-this is where I found out some others had it work, too. I compared measurements and purchased through a store that would take returns in case it wouldn't work.

Our first one lasted 8 years, then we bought another one to replace it because we liked it so much. Then we moved and I had to get this one again because the one that came with the house we bought was so disappointing compared to this one!

The microwave looked fine in the pictures and had the right features but the fan was so loud that the casing vibrated, amplifying the noise. Not interested. Trying to return and its not going well. On hold for 45 min disconnected trying again.

We've had it for less than a month and the clock won't keep accurate time and the timer when cooking waits almost two seconds or more for every second counted down. We bought it because of a great experience with GE products in the past but not so sure anymore.

GE JES2051SNSS Microwave; good looking, heats really fast with large heating area. The push button on door works really well not to hard to open.
** Needs 2 features, allow to change the power level while it is heating, currently it is a two step process to select Time Cook then the heating power level (which gets locked in). Second feature to allow to change time with an updown arrow once time is entered all you can do is add 30 seconds to it or cancel pause it.
Overall pleased but features would make it a game changer and awesome...

Replacement for an older unit, 20 years from the last GE looking for another 20 out of this one, fit exactly in the existing built in wall assembly so did not have to purchase another built in kit which saved 200 bucks. Well pleased.

The one I bought just over a year ago suddenly quit heating at all. I have submitted for a refund but have not heard back. If I get the refund I will rate it higher as it is a decent enough unit for the price.

This microwave works well and although it doesn't have all the features we were hoping for it fits our needs well. We were looking for a larger model and the selection is limited and hard to find. This unit replaced one that was almost twenty years old. Happy with it so far.

This was a replacement for same model that lasted only 4 years. Technician said he would have to replace all wire because of one defective end. Approx. $300 out the door. also the trim kit does not match so you have to pay another $300 for a new trim kit

My last GE microwave lasted almost 5 years before the magnetron stopped working. This model happens to almost duplicate of my last microwave. It has my favorite features as a 9x13 pan fits on the turntable, it has 6 express cook settings and an add 30 sec button that you can hit as many times as you want to keep adding more time, and it has a timer that works at the same time as the cook timer button.
I simply could not find any other microwave that had all these features plus the 1200 watts of cooking power!

The unit that failed (door issues) had cabinets built around it in 1996. Still lovely, I did not want to destroy the cabinets. Thank goodness you folks built one with the just-right dimensions! It fits the color scheme of the kitchen, as well, and is more powerful than the one it replaces. I do need to slightly modify (by 3/16 inch) the surround kit for the old one, easily done on this sunny day (needed to drill out four rivets, put in an attractive spacer). I was a little surprised at how expensive microwave ovens are these days, but, hey, I'm 70 and remember when Roman Meal bread was 15 cents a loaf.
